wshc_tai-chi Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice often called "moving mediation". Tai Chi's fluid yet focused and mindful movements are done seated, standing, or through a series of slowly flowing movements and shifts of balance. Tai Chi strengthens the leg muscles, conditions the tendons and ligaments of the hips, ankles, knees and feet and is known for reducing stress, elevating mood, building the immune system, improving balance and achieving a higher level of awareness and strength in performing all of life's mental and physical activities. Open to all ages and abilities.
