Hello Valued Members,
Due to the recent spike in Covid-19 numbers, King County has put in place a new mandate beginning October 25th that will be in effect for the next 6-months. All members must show proof of vaccination or provide a negative covid test result within 72 hours of attending the gym. Please see below the King County mandate:
“The COVID-19 Delta variant is spreading fast. As of October 25 in King County, proof of vaccination will be required for everyone ages 12+ at outdoor events of 500 or more people, indoor recreational events or establishments, restaurants, and bars. As of September 13 in Washington state, masks are required for everyone ages 5+ at outdoor events with 500 or more people and continue to be required in public indoor spaces.”
What can be used as proof of vaccination?
- CDC vaccination card or photo of vaccine card.
- Documented proof of vaccination from medical record or vaccine provider.
- Printed certificate or QR code (available at the end of September) from MyIRMobile.com.
Options for people who are unvaccinated or unable to prove vaccine status
People who are unvaccinated or cannot prove vaccination status will be required to show proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test in the last 72 hours or a rapid test result from a test performed by a testing provider on site at the event just prior to entry.
For COVID-19 testing locations and resources, visit kingcounty.gov/covid/sites.
Once you have provided your vaccination card to the front desk, your account will be notated, and you will not need to provide it again. If you have already provided your vaccination card to the front desk previously, no further action is needed.
If you are unvaccinated, or unable to prove your vaccine status, be prepared to show your negative COVID-19 test result to the front desk dated within 72-hours upon entry beginning October 25th. If unable to provide your test result, you will not be permitted to use the club.
Thanks for your cooperation with this and your continued support. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
