Dear Members,

By now, you are aware, Governor Inslee has signed an emergency proclamation to temporarily shut down bars, restaurants, dance halls, theaters, health clubs and other similar indoor social or recreational venues, until March 31, 2020. As a result, we will follow the Governors proclamation and will be closed until March 31st.  Moving forward we will be providing real-time updates via our Facebook page, club website, and most importantly via email. Please check your spam folders.

We realize that many of you have questions and concerns regarding your dues paid earlier this month (March), commitment deposit refunds, as well as time lost on your paid-in-full membership term. Below are details regarding refunds and ongoing membership billing.

WE WILL NOT BE BILLING MEMBERS DURING THE TIME THE CLUB IS CLOSED.

YOU WILL NOT LOSE ANY PREPAID SERVICES SUCH AS PERSONAL TRAINING OR SWIM LESSONS.

  • There is no need to cancel or freeze your membership since you are not going to be charged while the club is closed. While we are closed, we are not able to process cancellations or membership freezes.
  • We will be issuing prorated credits to members that paid for the month of March. This credit will take place on the first billing date after we re-open the club.
  • Commitment deposit usage dates will be extended for the length of time we are closed so that you are able to have an opportunity to meet your monthly requirements of attending the club 8 times in a month.
  • Paid-in-full memberships will also be extended for the length of time the club is closed.

During this closure, we will be addressing maintenance issues that we are unable to accomplish while the club is open. In addition, we will be focusing on painting, cleaning carpets and several other club improvements that are most easily accomplished while the club is not occupied.

I think we can all agree that this is an unprecedented time in our lives and will require extraordinary measures from the entire community. Rest assured we will re-open when this is all over. We are financially very viable and plan on continuing operations no matter how long this proclamation is in effect. We are committed to doing the right thing for you, the very members that have contributed to our success.

Sincerely,

Dan Lehr

What our Members Say About our message above

"Thank you for this response. WSHC is a model for integrity and community and I’m grateful to be part of it. I will use the time to do some online training so when classes resume I will have some new moves and material!

Stay well and thanks for all you do for the staff and members!"

Rhonda

"If this thing extends beyond the 31st and you end up closing for 1-3 months please don't hesitate to communicate to us members about how you all are doing. If paying my membership dues in April and May when you are closed allows you to pay your staff and not close permanently I would potentially be interested in continuing to be billed knowing the money is going to support your employees. Zach Broten has done me right for about 6 years now (I was his first client when he got his first training job at Vision Quest) and I want to make sure you all are ok, too."

Nate

"What a great email! You answered all my questions. Thank you so much!!

We love the WSH club.

All the best to you and the staff."
